Your driver meets you on arrival in Casablanca. The journey follows the Atlantic coast via El Jadida, with time to see the Portuguese city and cistern, then Oualidia for lunch before arriving in Essaouira in the afternoon. Transfer to your hotel and time at leisure.

Spend the day discovering Essaouira at your own pace: its compact medina, blue doors, artisan workshops and historic Portuguese influence. Lunch is at leisure, with the port an ideal place to enjoy fresh fish before another night in Essaouira.

After breakfast, travel inland through rural Morocco toward Marrakech. On arrival, transfer to your hotel with the rest of the day free to settle in and begin exploring.

A guided day in Marrakech takes in the Koutoubia minaret, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace and Ben Youssef Madrasa before continuing through the medina’s artisan quarters to Jemaa el-Fnaa. The afternoon is free for places such as Majorelle Garden and Gueliz.

Cross the High Atlas over Tizi n’Tichka, stopping for panoramic views and Berber villages. Continue to UNESCO-listed Aït Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate and the Skoura palm grove before reaching the Valley of Roses and Dadès for the night.

Begin with viewpoints across Dadès and the geological formations known as the Monkey Fingers. Continue to the Todra Gorges for a walk between its towering rock walls, then travel onward to Merzouga and the edge of the Sahara.

Explore the Merzouga region by 4×4, including Khamlia for Gnawa music, the kohl mines and tea with nomads, then visit Rissani and its market. Later, ride camels into the dunes for sunset and continue to camp for dinner, mint tea and music around the fire.

Rise early for sunrise over the dunes, then leave the desert via the Ziz Valley and Tafilalet palm groves. After lunch near Midelt, cross the cedar forests around Azrou and stop in Ifrane before arriving in Fes in the afternoon.

Explore Fes with a guide, beginning around the Royal Palace and Mellah before viewing the medina from above. Continue on foot through the UNESCO-listed old city, with madrasas, Karaouiyne, Nejjarine, artisan quarters and a ceramic workshop.

Travel toward Chefchaouen with a visit to the Roman ruins of Volubilis and a panoramic stop at Moulay Idriss. Reach Chefchaouen in the afternoon, with time to enjoy its blue-painted old town and mountain setting.

Leave Chefchaouen for Rabat. On arrival, visit the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of the Oudayas and its monumental gate, then continue to Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

After breakfast, depart Rabat for Casablanca Airport and your return journey home. Private airport transfer marks the end of AlloMorocco’s services.
